Packaged very well. Assembly straight forward with hardware separated for each chair and table. Excellent fit and finish. Sturdy.Absolutely love this table. Easy to assemble, all parts were there, screws seem sturdy. Dowels were loose fitting so that was a little strange to me that they would fall off when assembling, but didn’t seem to affect quality. Only issue is top arrived cracked, but company was extremely prompt on replying and sending a new top. Overall, awesome little table and very solidI got this to protect my dining room table, lol. I don’t have any young kids at home, but my neighbors kids come over frequently and occasionally my two year old granddaughter comes over. The first thing they do when they get here is run over to the table to sit at it. Then within 15 minutes the chairs are dragged from the dining room to the living room and laying on their side, lol. I wondered how some of these tables in the reviews got so abused in such a short amount of time,......now I know, lol. But seriously, this one can take the abuse! It’s very solid and went together easily. Every hole lined up. The quality is just as good as my adult table from Rooms 2 Go. The espresso color looks espresso in a darker room, but has hints of cherry in the light. I used the furniture polish on it that came with my adult table and chairs and I feel this will help to give it extra protection. My neighbor also insisted that I put felt thingy’s on the feet to protect my hardwood floors. In fact, she helped me to put them on within five minutes of arriving at my house,......oh how she KNEW what her kids would do next!I found some plastic dishes that match mine and the cut one of my placemats in half, so now it can be set like the adult table.SIZE NOTES: The six year old said she really likes it because her feet can touch the floor. The two year old’s feet don’t touch the floor, but he is able to seat himself (and carry/drag the chairs from the living room to the dining room and use it as a step stool to climb up onto the barstools,......)I listened to some of the reviewers' recommendations to not over-tighten the screws...but my husband didn't. On one of the screws he was working on, he kept screwing past the normal resistance point, and we did hear a crack of the wood. He immediately stopped and loosened the screw. I haven't seen an actual crack anywhere, and the entire thing has been holding up perfectly for almost a year of use now. My 3 year-old is rough with this and the chairs are constantly being tipped over and slammed onto a tile floor. On top of that, both I (125 lbs) and my husband (210 lbs) have sat in these chairs when hanging out with our kid at the table, and there is not even a wiggle in the assembly of the chairs. I'm impressed enough that if this set does wear out after this point, knowing how rough this has been treated, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.The paint stays on well, hasn't scuffed off. My kid likes to eat at this table and has left water rings sitting on the wood surface, sometimes for hours before I realize there's liquid I need to clean off. Not a bit of discoloration, lift, bubbling, to the painted surface. Other parents have come over and admired our little table set, complaining about their less nice/sturdy ones at home (other brands), and I'm more and more happy I lucked out with having chosen this set.I got this for my nephew for his second birthday and I absolutely love love love this table and chairs. Not only do I love this set, the company is a very outstanding company! I bought this in August for his birthday and unfortunately was so busy that I didnt assemble it until October. When we assembled it, it was a beautiful color and was a really steardy piece of furniture. On one of the chair seats it had a tiny crack down the middle that wasnt even obvious at first but I was concerned with it getting worse when continuously sat on. I contacted the company Saturday and I had a new seat on my porch Wednesday morning!!!! I am so impressed by my all around experience with this company! I will be purchasing another table and chair set for my house from this company in the very near future!Oh and my nephew loved it and all his cousins were taking turns sitting at the table. They are ages 5 and 8. And my nephew is 2 and small for his age and sits perfectly at the table. His feet don't touch the ground but he can get on and off the chair with ease. I am 30 yo and 160 lbs and i even sat at the table and colored for a while so that should give you an idea on how sturdy this set is!!!If I could give more than 5 stars I would absolutely do so. This is by far the best customer service that I have dealt with in a long time. I attempted to put the chairs together, which is more difficult than the tables, and ended up stripping the nails and some of the nails were stuck in the wood parts. When I contacted the seller to obtain additional parts, they promptly responded, that they would send the parts the next following business day. To my amazement, when I opened the package, they sent both chairs completely put together. As a single parent, I often times have to take on the challenge of putting things together, and it was so helpful for them to send the chairs put together. A++++++++++ service!!!!The table and chairs are very sturdy, I can sit on one chair while my son sits on the other...which works out perfect during feeding time. The added bonus is that the chairs go with my decoration. This will be great piece of furniture for many years. I initially wanted to get my son the Mickey Mouse table and chairs, but I know that his obsession with Mickey Mouse may change as he gets older (as he is already into Thomas the Train), so I wanted something that would be longer lasting.I liked the way the table and chairs looked and they are very sturdy.
